My thought is Ash played very tentatively last year under Harsin's watch. It was almost like he was afraid to tuck the ball and run it. With Applewhite as OC, he played very loose and relaxed the 2nd Half versus Oregon State.

If that half is a glimpse of Ash's potential, I say take of the shackles and let the man improvise. A dual-threat QB is tougher to stop at every level!
