A Pre-Thanksgiving Update

Should be a lot of emotions on the field at DKR for the players and I hope it translates into a victory for the Seniors and for Charlie as I would like him to leave with a victory. I do appreciate the hard work that he put into this program, but I am very excited for the changes that will be made for the program.

Just told Aaron that watching the cliff-jumpers react to every rumor is a fun exercise.

Like Roach said, enjoy your Thanksgiving, and let this play out.

Hook Em!

Mike, I tried to 'like' your post, but the software rejected it.  I got a message that stated "there was a problem storing your reputation vote".  Don't know what the problem is.  Tried it 3 times.

During A&M/LSU game, they are chasing a story about Herman to LSU.  Said LSU AD met with Herman today.  Someone came up with a report that a deal could be signed by Saturday.  Don't know where they are getting their information.

"Texas president Gregory Fenves' preference has been to keep Strong, sources told ESPN's Mark Schlabach, and the odds of Strong returning for a fourth season are expected to increase dramatically if Herman is no longer available."

I suspect ESPN is making news to draw ratings, but we shall see.

So, what is going on?
We will know by Saturday. I don't know about you but I'm having a great thanksgiving weekend. Great meal, Cowboys beat the Redskins, and family went to Chicago for the rest of the weekend giving me some much needed downtime. Everything else is just noise right now. Just letting it play out and going to root for my Horns tomorrow.

If Fenves decides to keep Strong, both Fenves and Strong will be gone by the inevitable first ugly loss next year.
Like the bowl game (assuming a UT win)? If he stays, next year will be a repeat of his first 3. Just disgusting how the fans are being treated. Hope the big donors close their check books till these 2 and Perrin are gone.

It had been said that athletics are the front porch of the University. If this report is true Fenves is staking his entire presidency on Charlie Strong. Good luck at Lamar or Southeast Oklahoma State or Colorado School of the Mines, Greg. You are drawing dead with all your chips in the middle.
