There truly are no words or jewels of wisdom at this time.  I am so very sorry and am heartbroken for you and your family.  You have joined a club that requires the highest price to become a member.  Yes, no parent should ever face the loss of a child.  It is the wrong order of things.  I lift up you, your family and friends to the Lord.  May He gather you in His loving arms and hold you tightly as He guides you on this very difficult and heart-wrenching journey.  Praying that Brandon has found peace, and is ecstatically enjoying being in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  I will continue to pray for your peace, comfort and healing.
