I had a awesome day of tailgating yesterday, its one of the things I miss most in the off season. DKR was not full but overall there was pretty good energy by the crowd. Now a few thoughts.

1. Talked to a few people yesterday and based on what they told me there is no indication that Mack will be retiring from within his office staff. Another words no one who works close seem to know nothing.

2. Case McCoy gives you all he has. He is so limited in his skill set but my goodness he plays hard.

3. What could have been? If Greg Robinson could have had a whole off season with this defense.. Man oh man

4. Jalen Overstreet is not a good RB. I am not sure what position he should play at this point.

5. Thank you Mike Davis for giving us another year.

6. I am still baffled by the Swoopes decision.

7. Cedric Reed is playing at a very high level. I do think he comes back next year.

8. Kliff Kingsbury looked lost many times on the sideline. Greg Robinson owned him all night.

9. Sad news on Steve Edmond. He has played a lot better under Robinson.

10. Marcus Johnson is going to be real good, but he has to learn to protect the ball better

11. The player that we don't see in the stat line that plays his ass off every week is TE Swaim. He can flat out block.

12. I hope if we don't go to the Cotton Bowl we head to the Alamo. I am biased because I just love San Antonio.

13. The 13 seniors honored last night never won the Big 12, 1-3 against OU..WOW

14.I really want to beat Baylor. I know I know but I just hate losing.. Remember I am fan too

15. If anyone finds Peter Jenkins let me know. Lots of high expectations for him this year but he has disappeared.

16. There is still no official coaching opening yet. ( Is anyone starting to get concerned?)

Have a great week..Hook'em

It is still possible for these guys to claim their first conference championship. I'm holding out hope.

We all are

Claiming half a title with a team that whipped you is very aggy/soonerish.....

OuSuxx could give us some help. OSU is capable of a meltdown against the Sooner.

So I'm saying we have a chance

OU leads the series 83-17-7. So yes they have a chance

1 and 16 have me very concerned
Why is that. From what I was told there is no indication from anyone who works closely in office that he is going to retire. Another words he has told no one there yet.. 16 speaks for itself we have no opening yet

Yes, I am concerned. If Mack is back in 2014 the only word I have for it is Disaster with a capital D.

If Texas doesn't win out, 1st Texas class under Mack Brown to never win 10 games and Case McCoy sucks at playing QB in every way imaginable.

If Mack comes back next year, all subs will be cancelled and I WILL NOT watch another Texas game until he is gone.

I am done with Mack at the helm.

I'd hope a serious fan of Longhorn football would still support the team regardless of who the coach is.

one might be really conflicted there. If, for instance, this season will require not winning the conference to ensure a coaching change, then is it really so much better to root for an extra win now, or possibly a lot more in the future? Granted, no one knows for certain what the future does hold, but most of us agree a change is desperately needed for the program.

If Mack beating Baylor somehow equates to him continuing, then you're not just hurting the overall program, but that means also it's detrimental to the very kids who are part of that program, as well as the fans. Sorry, I can't do that, hard as it is to see us lose any game!

Frankly, I think BU will stomp us, but our team seems schizophrenic, blown out three times this yr, yet intermittently rises up and plays good football like they did the other night.

So I think we have a 10 to 20% chance of pulling the upset! and I would love to see it along with an ouSuxx win over OSU (another 10-20% chance).

But by far the most important thing for our program is for Mack to leave. I hope it's in a blaze of glory with a BCS bowl win but no matter what, I want him gone.

If he doesn't leave, I will truly step back from even casual interest in the program. The man has become a cancer for our program.

#3. Personally, I think Diaz was Mack's Waterloo

#4. 100% agree

#6. What makes this inexcusable, is the lack of quality PT

#7. Reed is playing at an All American level, today.

#11. Swaim is good, no doubt, but have you noticed that no one is calling out Espinosa any more?

#12. The only reason i wouldn't want to go to the Alamo dome is because I hate the Alamo dome.

#16. Not to worry - there will be an opening - soon.
