2026 Recruiting Board/Thread

5-star RB Amari Lattimer (5'11, 210 lbs) will visit Texas on June 13-14, per GH.

I think we're up to 45 visitors in June now. Most of them are 4 and 5 stars.

Anyone know when scholarship limits go up? Because I have Texas at 76 scholarship players.

Just crunching the scholarship numbers for '26. Texas will be a young but very talented team. I'm sure they will hit the portal hard again because they won't trust their young talent.
QB no losses unless Owens decides to leave.
RB one loss.
OL three losses unless some excels and jumps up the draft board.
TE one loss.
WR two losses.
DT four losses.
Edge two losses.
LB three losses.
DB four losses.
SP 2 losses.
Seventeen losses of upper classmen. There is only a handful of juniors under them that would probably stay, so sophomores and RS freshman will be the largest part of the team.

OTF had Texas at 83 scholarships prior to the latest DT joining from the portal.

We have one more spot so the big question is, what will they do when all of the positions are pretty well stocked. I suppose a TE or maybe a kick returner could be the one.
