2025 Recruiting Board/Thread

Who replaces Banks and Williams at our tackles if both get drafted? Surely we're not relying on Fasusi to be our starting LT next year, right? We might be loaded at the QB and the skill positions, but if our OL is not any good, 2025 is gonna be a rough year.
I don't believe Williams will get a great grade for the draft. He will be told to come back. Too many mental mistakes this year for him. He needs to stay.

Yes, Goosby and Baker are next in line and they're very promising.

Also, in the ccurrent class, we already have Nick Brooks who is already almost as big as Cam is and John Mills.

Any word on Justus Terry ? I know he came in for Georgia game, said he liked. It.
He would be a hell of a get at DL
Seems like not much to see there. Gerry Hamilton keeps saying that Georgia doesn't tend to lose out on 5 star in state studs they want. I think Texas stays in the game but I wouldn't expect it to happen.

Regardless of the draft this year, we will be replacing nearly all of our O-line. We've got some studs ready to step in but we will be short on experience. With a pretty inexperienced QB in Arch and a new o-line I wouldn't be surprised if we have some offensive struggles.

Considering the cyclical nature of college football, I could see 2025 being a slight step back but in 2026, especially if Arch stays, we could be ready to be elite once again.

Sorry, how do you define elite? Are we elite now? We're a good team now but elite doesn't come to mind.

I think we're elite. The only loss we have is to an elite team, perhaps the best elite team.

Everybody else we've manhandled outside of Vandy. I don't know if Vandy is elite but they did beat Bama.

And being ranked #1 at one point and #5 currently does normally suggest the team is elite.

Yeah, we have flaws. But so does Georgia, Oregon and everybody else.

I guess Brooks went to the Auburn game and is being pursued heavily by the mighty Tigers. Is this anything I need to curl up in a fetal position and whimper about?

Yeah, I think Cam sticks around. He has still more to improve.
Disagree. NFL drafts traits, not production. He has a ton of great traits and will be a top 50 pick in the draft this spring. Think there is a very good chance we have 4 new OL next year.

The team that played michigan, yes, that was an elite team. We've regressed since then. ga defense made us look like a big12 team.

We have a couple of games to get ready for the a&m game. I hope I see the team that played at ann arbor. We're going to need to be an elite team to beat them and we HAVE to beat them....it's a family thing. 😄

I assume he will enroll in the summer though correct?

To move up classes requires finishing his diploma requirements a full year early vs early spring enrollees that are required to finish up a 1/2 year ahead. To re clarify and start in the spring would imply finishing high school requirements 1.5 years early, I guess that's technically possible, but it seems highly unlikely, so your summer enrollment assumption is reasonable.
