Oh boy

That'd be your best WR class in at least 25 years.

this sounds great, but with the revolving door in college football, how many guys will stick if they aren't the #1 receiver after a year or two? Are we going to have an air raid offense?

Nope. We will have Elite receivers, an Elite play design, and the best trigger man in the Nation. With our oline and RB’s we could smash the NCAA record books.

Maybe we should ask Jontay Cook. He's been around over a year, was a 5-star, and got scant playing time this past year.

We don't have to have an air raid offense. The one we have is equally generous for the running game and passing game.

A well respected poster on another site has previously laid the over/under for June commits at 16.5. He has now moved that up to 18.

He saw what is coming for him next season. WR's had 180 receptions in 2023. I figure if you divide that by five that's 36 receptions each on average. That should be enough to keep the recruits attention considering Golden and Bond will probably leave and Boldin is definitely gone after next season. Now with this potential gold mine of WR's coming in you might see Niblett, Livingstone or DuBose leave and if that's the case, next man up.

Cook moves into the #1 WR position with those that went to the NFL. Red is a perfect example of what hookemhorb is referring to and he hit the portal.

Savion Red? He was a QB in HS but we recruited him as a WR. Then when several players passed him up on the depth chart, they tried him in the back field. His value as a RB was his twitch, his quickness. Lets just say he ate himself out of the job.

IT has a newer writer named Charlie Williams and he covers a lot of DFW.

He has put in Texas picks for both brothers.
