I get the feeling Texas and Alabama are splitting Lacey and Russell

Definitely possible.

When I saw the offer yesterday, I immediately wondered if DeBoer actually likes Lacey better and offering Russell was a bit of strategy in hopes Texas would make a move one way or the other.

I would go all out for Russell regardless since they don't have a QB yet.

I myself am more intrigued with Russell. He is taller and can scramble better. Arm strength seems to be the same. Lacey seems to be flirting a little with Bama.

If Sark offered Russell, he's not telling Lacey to move on imo.

I understand that could be seen as Sark essentially forcing Lacey out, but Lacey would have to decide if he wanted to be in a two QB class.

I'm on the side of offering Russell and letting things unfold as they will.

IT saying today A&M has bumped Oklahoma in the race for OL Michael Fasusi.

A&M hired a guy named Joe Hamilton in the offseason to be their assistant GM, and he happens to be a Lewisville native with a great recruiting reputation.

It now appears to be an A&M/Texas battle.

The most realistic view of that right now is:

Coleman Bros
Fasusi
Mills
Rogers

Even if we lose Fasusi that is a badass class of OL. Mills is a LT all the way and Rogers is stout enough to play RT.
Or vice versa. They are both exceptional.
