Lewisville hasn't had that logo very long. I don't care for it. Since SLC included the shape of the state in their logo, many other teams have copied the idea.

They went to this after ditching the logo with the Farmer riding a mule with a pitch fork in his hand. lol It was original at least.

247 reporting Autry will be in Austin on April 13th.

“I really wasn’t hearing much from them,” Autry told Horns247. “I always wanted that offer. Texas is a dream for a lot of people. Once (Kenny Baker) got in touch and he offered, it was huge for me.”

“I like his energy,” Autry said. “He called me in the middle of watching my film. He was like ‘Man, I didn’t know your film was this good!’ From right then it’s been going on. I think he’s a great guy. Me and him already set a visit up for April 13. Then I’ll definitely take an OV. Probably get to sit down and talk to Coach Sarkisian and get to see that campus. Coach is a great guy. I can’t wait to see where this relationship goes for the next few months.”

“Overall they’re winners,” Autry said of the Longhorns. “I feel like they’re super close to a national championship. And I think whenever they do get one they’re going to keep going for multiple years. I don’t think they’ll be one and done. And they’re a stable program. They’re always going to be a higher end team, whether they win a championship or not. With this 12-team playoff coming up, I think Texas will be contender for the next 10 years. Texas is on the up-and-up. That’s what stands out to me.”
