Good stuff NTG. The only problem I have is that On3 recently explained how they rate recruits. They don't rank them based on what they are now and what they have achieved thus far, but instead rank them on what they THINK they will be down the road.
I don't care for that. I wish they would change it where potential is just part of the evaluation.

The only thing I can find on their site explains how they do the Consensus rankings where they factor in where all 4 services have players ranked.

Yeah, they explained their process during a video where they spoke about it.
IMO, their entry affects the consensus in a negative way.

Here's how they say they value each service when they do their Consensus ranking. It's supposedly involves some type of proprietary algorithm.
On3 - 35%
247 - 35%
Rivals - 20%
ESPN - 10%

I think that's about right. Rivals and ESPN both have less reliable rankings so that makes it about right.

FYI programs across the country will be sending out official offers tomorrow in the mail, and on social media, since it's August 1st.
It's a good way to track which players are still being pursued, as opposed to guys who received offers a long time ago and schools are no longer interested.
For example, Texas won't be sending one to ATH Hunter Moddon.
I will post anything noteworthy on Texas' end.

IT got quotes from DE Solomon Williams of Tampa, FL after his unofficial visit to Texas over the weekend:
“Very impressed,” Williams told Inside Texas Monday. “I didn’t really know what to expect, but it blew my expectations out of the water. Coach (Steve) Sarkisian is a really great dude. (Pete Kwiatkowski) was a great dude. Coach Bo Davis is my dude. The staff is full of men that can mold and grow me.”
“They said that they are in need of a pass rusher,” Williams said. “Someone who can get the quarterback on the ground. Not just a body that fill up gaps. Not just rush the passer, but get the QB on the ground.”
“Me being in the position room last meeting of the summer before fall camp,” Williams said. “They had play tests. Going over stunts and plays. I liked how you aren’t going to be perfect, but they are going to work you through it. Like a family (working together). The player led practice was pretty nice. Xavier Worthy was going off. The other receiver (AD Mitchell) was balling.”
“I told them (Texas staff) I would make a decision during the season,” Williams said. “Take my game day officials, and then make a decision.”
“Great group of dudes,” Williams said. “Dudes that are going to tell it how it is. Great dudes to be around, and be mentored by.”
“I asked questions about transitioning from high school to football,” Williams said. “They talked about not allowing themselves to fall in love with going out, but being focused on producing. I was also able to talk to Worthy and Jahdae Barron. I got to know those guys.”
