I gotta be honest. Nothing against the kid but I didn't think Pierce was a good fit. We tapped the brakes and have two LBs we're zeroed in on. 

The RB, I like him a lot. I hope we continue to recruit him. Anything can happen with this much time left.

IT guys seemed to indicate the same. Never really pushed too hard.

Will probably be a small LB class given the young talent we have around. Preferred options being 5 star Justin Williams from Conroe who we are behind on and Dylan Williams from Cali who is slightly higher ranked than Pierce.

Most of our offers at LB seem to be a little light in the britches. Heck Simmons at edge has a linebacker physique.

Just a reminder today is the beginning of the spring evaluation period and the transfer portal has opened.

For the eval period, assistant coaches are allowed to hit the road until the end of May to visit schools across the country and see recruits in-person, speak with high school staffs, etc.

We may not see Texas' staff start traveling for another week, but you'll start seeing those updates of them traveling everywhere.
