Something to keep in mind for the All-American Bowl on January 7th.
S Peyton Woodyard, teammate of WR DeAndre Moore, Jr., is making his commitment at the game and Moore claims they're a package deal.
Woodyard's perceived leader is Georgia, the school Texas happened to beat out for Moore's signature.
Also, IT hinted that there's possibly another positive development happening at that game other than the commitment of ATH Jelani McDonald.
Woodyard is the top safety on Texas' board for 2024, but they didn't make his recent Top 7 after Thanksgiving.

Nothing specific, but the kid enjoys being recruited and I don't think Texas is interested in that right now.

I will add that it's been talked about for a long time that his recruitment is the type where if you really want him, you don't want him to commit to you early in the process.
Hamilton at IT mentioned Texas can do better in terms of fit, but he didn't specify if that meant culture or his position.

IT touched on some of the offers to know for '24, and they basically confirmed LB Justin Williams of Conroe Oak Ridge was the guy who was about to come off the board around mid-season as he was a heavy Oregon lean.
They believe his recruitment will come down to Oregon and Texas.
