Position-less football is the future. Gary Patterson was an early adopter of this, as is Mike Gundy. Recruit athletic safeties and turn them into LBs.

This is a part of recruiting I don't like. Kids taking a freebee when they have no intention of signing. Maybe I'm jumping the gun here but it sure seems that way.

Schools do the same. Bring in kids that they dont plan on signing. It's part of the game unfortunately.

Sounds like someone that is already out, but hasn't made it official yet.  If he's in Lubbock, I get the feeling the staff has already told him to move on.
