1. 3 out of the 4 EDGE players that UT recruited in the 2021 class have already portaled out or are currently in the portal.

2. Of the 6 potential EDGE players that UT recruited in the 2022 class, only 3 of them can we confidently say will remain at the EDGE position. Derrick Brown was moved to off-the-ball LB in Fall Camp. Zac Swanson & Jeray Bledsoe seem destined for DT.

So I don't see a problem with UT grabbing potentially 4 EDGE players in the current 2023 class & grabbing another in the portal. 

7 DE's (edges) on next years roster about right for two man position

If some decommits or portals would need a replacement.

That would be awesome.  Spurn ATM, don't go to OU and head up to the Northwest....I would be just fine with that.

Per IT, WR Ryan Niblett of Aldine Eisenhower made an unexpected visit to Houston yesterday and is considering a flip.

He didn't inform the Texas staff or a source close to him that he was making the trip.

He's still scheduled to be at Texas next weekend.
