Wow, really??!! UT can probably get a better EDGE player in the portal. The only way pursuing Akana still makes sense is that UT must really like the young EDGE players on their current roster so much, they’re fine taking another H.S. EDGE instead grabbing 1 from the portal.

Two internal factors at play here for the Horns; 1. Obviously his sister; 2. Akana and Lefau are tight (as tight as you can be with an ocean and 2 states between you). 

I don't have much inside on this, but a golf buddy of mine is friends with Lefau's family (so he says, but everyone does know everyone out here) and supposedly Texas is getting a couple of surprises on signing day.  Take that with a grain of salt and know that a lot of beer was involved.  Not sure if that meant Akana or not.

Personally, I interpreted that claim as old news and it refers to Hill and probably Moore. I just ignored it as golf chat / BS.  I just said "shoots" and went on with the game.

Defense needs 1 LB and 4 DBS

OF needs 1 WR and 1 OL These numbers based on number of bodies at each position.

Per IT, Sark went in-home with WR DeAndre Moore, Jr. and his family yesterday and the reviews are that they feel "very comfortable" with the idea of playing for Texas, while singling out Sark, his wife and Coach Marion as big reasons for that.

A final decision is likely next week.

- they're saying his decision could actually come down to Illinois vs. Texas as opposed to the recent talk that Michigan was a big favorite.

- his brother, Christian, who was offered yesterday will be in Austin with him in two weeks.
