Any concerns on Baxter’s visit to FSU?
The commitment and visit timelines have changed due to the early signing period and portal. I only get concerned when the staff is not informed. I'm assuming they were aware of Baxter's visit. I am concerned about Cojoe since he apparently did not tell them. The staff may pursue someone else if they feel he's not all in. See Wilson's situation.

A lot depends on Angilau if he returns will be great. Welch and Merrill might be portal canidates. Need 17 to 18 OL.

Biggest need now is DBS need 17 to 18 on roster.

IT saying Cojoe didn't inform the staff he would be making the trip, and the TCU staff feels like they have a shot.

They don't have him on flip watch, but say it's something to monitor.
I honestly wouldn't cry if we lost Cojoe. No disrespect, but he's not on the level other recruits are that we go after. We could do better here. And no, I'm not referring to Shannahan.

Shanahan got his knee tore up Friday night in the game against Dripping Springs, I am told.

The staff disagrees with you. Apparently they love Cojoe and think he will be a stud.

When did you talk to them?

I said what I said based on film of him I've seen of him. Its a little different from others we recruit.

It’s good that he’s visiting but that’s a long shot
It is a long shot.....but:

1. Says a lot that an out of state kid had to cancel an OV (due to weather pushing his HS game back) and actually follows through on the reschedule

2. Remember, his parents still made the trip for the Bama game. In other words, they missed their sons own HS football game to visit Texas.

3. Jatavion Sanders, tied for 3rd in TE TDs, 8th in receiving yards.

I think the interest is real

Burton on IT wrote this morning he thinks the dam is close to breaking when it comes to Texas' recruiting.

He think we could see some real movement next week if Texas has another good showing this weekend.
When can we expect the dam to start breaking?

I don’t want to cause mass panic but I think I see small cracks and a few drops of water at the dam.
By the time Halloween rolls around folks better have a boat. Just saying
wait, is this a bad damn breaking for the Texas class?

I was thinking it meant Texas was going to start getting some commits, as in the damn holding the recruits back (Vasek, Toviano and others) was about to break.

I took it to mean that we were about to get flooded with commitments
