2023 Recruiting Board/Thread

A bit from T. Collins 24/7 profile in the offers. Texas 20 edges 0 commits.

Thats one I can not figureout. Texas does have 20 DES and LBS combinedcounting the 4 commitments.. Just how accurate is 24/7?

A&M is not going quietly, and keep in mind they weren't even on the radar for several of their 2022 commitments after until after the season started.

This USC writer saying their donors need a wake-up call quickly as to what it will take to keep the elite West Coast guys home.

It seems like the recruitment BBQ was a mixed bag.  We had our two best recruiters on campus in Cook and Manning and had a lot of our already signed up folks which helps for bonding.  Great to see Deal, Matthews and Vasek make it as well as a few other potential defensive players.  These are important folks at positions of need.

It seems like most of our key targets in Texas we have been talking about didn't make it in spite of it not being on the same day as the other programs recruiting event.

- I am hearing Hale was actually in college station yesterday in spite of no event being held in Aagieland Thursday.  That would be a major disappointment, because it would have been easy to do Texas Thursday and the ags this weekend for their event

- No confirmation of Toviano attending, so I am guessing he didn't attend

- No Hill

- No Gullette, but if we are hearing it was car trouble and actually he did still make it into Austin great, but still would have been good for him to be around the other guys at the event.

Those are all in state recruits that didn't make it that are high priority guys in my mind for Texas although Hale at this stage is definitely a really nice to have rather than a high priority given our receivers in Austin already and have verbal commits.  While it wasn't a bad day to be sure it is far from the endless homeruns we have been hitting up until this point.

FIFY ?

On LB Derion Gullette of Marlin...IT continues to hear that Texas is his personal favorite, but they're watching what his circle wants when/if they show up to College Station tomorrow.
