TFB saying MHP may no longer be part of the plan.

IMO, that would mean staff feels confident in either Hale, Pettaway or Greathouse.
Do you know which topic that's in?

I can't find it.

All I see is a random Texas fan tweeted that out.

A another reason Texas is having trouble winning last 7-8 years.
Not sure that's fair. I mostly trust that this coaching staff knows what they are doing. I think in the past they allowed some complacent or underachieving players to languish on the team without any significant contributions.

I'm not sure how many is appropriate to surplus each year, but I can believe it could potentially lead to a winning culture where everyone understands that they need to keep doing everything they can to get better,  or they may be replaced.

The tricky thing is you don't want to take so many that you need to get rid of guys that can help you win games that you end up losing.

We're coming off a 5-7 season in which Bo Davis had to lose his shit because players weren't affected by losses. Turnover was needed. With the portal it will also be the way of the world regardless. Some of the players we're excited about today, we'll gladly say goodbye to in a season or 2.

100 % right onsaying goodbye to some of this years recruits.

Most popular man on campus use to be backup QB. Today it next years recruits. BeliveSark has already lost two of hisfirst years class.

I trust the offense side but jury is still out on defense. Not so much on recruiting but on the playing field.

When all the commits started happening, IT said Cook and Greathouse were the 2 WRs that the staff would wait for until the end if they had to. I tend to agree with you, just sharing info.
Don't get me wrong, I think Greathouse is a really good player, but there is something about him that I don't like for this offense.  It seems like he is slower than others and will likely turn into a TE/H-Back.  I would rather they add speed from a Pettaway or MHP type.

Greathouse won't be in this class. It sounds like MHP won't either as we've put the brakes on there.

That makes me think we've landed Hale or Pettaway or both.

Not sure how to take that.  Not worried as in he is already in the class or not worried because Texas has other guys in the bag.
What I've heard is, MHP told Sark he wanted to take other visits. The teams on his list Cal, Tech, Houston, aren't in our neighborhood, so to speak. So rather than save a spot, we've shifted gears in another direction.

What I don't know is the reason for the self-confidence. It would have to involve Pettaway or Hale.

Made sense why we lost six in a row. The Bo Davis video told the story. Something ain’t right with the team.
