Several recruits was waiting on Manning, H-Pilot said he would commit if Manning did.

Guess they are waiting on big moment to announce.

Maybe so, if possible, but he could be paid more in an active on-field role couldn't he, and the perception by the recruits would be enhanced. 

You're right about the fact that he may not want a position like that. Just wishing. 

I would think his pay would be whatever we want it to be, would have to be approved I guess. Perception angle could impact some recruits, but honestly, it seems like he is doing a good job helping with recruits on campus (thought he can't go out on the road and recruit at this point).

So far, it has been a good move seemingly. Can never have too many good football minds on campus.

Still so disappointing to see us falling behind schools like Tech and Washington for Texas kids. Missing on Vasek would be a bummer.
