Dang, another ATX kid to Clemson....was this expected?  Rivals is showing him visiting the good guys on the 24th...i guess that's probably not happening?

Not expected, but I have seen some talk that Reed is friends with Klubnik from Austin Westlake.

Reed told OrangeBloods he won't take his official to Texas.

OrangeBloods saying keep an eye on OLTrevor Goosby of Melissa with Reed choosing Clemson.

The staff made sure to see him this spring.

His current offer list doesn't exactly jump out at you. Well, other than the offer from Dartmouth. Must be a smart kid ?

My granddaughter played on the Melissa JV basketball team last year and I have seen the kid at some Melissa basketball games. To these untrained eyes, I will say he does look the part. Looks to be very athletic for his size.

This made me laugh.
“Exactly how Kirby wanted it!”

He didn’t want the last visit like every Coach in America would want. He wanted some other Coach to have the last word and some other place fresh on the Manning family’s mind. He’s playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers I guess.

They don’t call him Coach Smart for nothing.

Not real smart, despite the name.

Regardless of what Arch does, the statistics are overwhelmingly in favor of the schools that get the last visit.

As long as they go on the last visit.  If they don’t, the first visit is the last visit.

I like the chances of the Horns having the last visit.  It's clear Texas has made Arch the #1 priority at QB just by their actions alone. I mean there is only 1 QB offer for 23 and it's him, right or wrong.  UGA has 12 QB offers on the table.  They can say Arch is a priority, but actions speak louder than words.

The Manning's are not dumb and know what type of offensive mind is needed at the helm.  Dont believe that kind of creativity and next-level QB preparation exists at UGA.  I get it, they won the NC and hats off to them, but it wasn't because they're offensive juggernaut. Maybe Texas doesn't win a natty, but the Manning's know Arch will be prepared and developed for the next level under Sark.

If a kid takes one official, he committed early in the process or knew where he was going all along.

Luckily that doesn't apply here and recruiting trends are still mostly identifiable despite a few surprise situations or what A&M did with their 2022 class.
