I think it's important to keep in mind Fong has connections to that A&M staff, and his confidence on that A&M pick for Owens is basically 50/50.
Land Arch relatively soon and go from there imo.

Per IT, S Jayden Bonsu of Jersey City, NJ is very much on the staff's radar despite not hearing his name a lot.
Texas stopped by his school recently so they must believe they can at least get him to Austin for an official visit.

Recruiting gates opened wide numbers went away. Only the 85 remains.
For the next two years the 25 initial signers go away sign as many as you want. Just have to run off ( get them in portal) to reach 85 by august.

Thanks for the info. My question is, if we're moving away from Owens and Baxter picks someone else (by all accounts, he's probably staying in the state of Florida). Who is the next man on the Horns board? I know Baxter is still in play and Choice is doing a great job with him, but does Wisner become RB1?

Its not a situation I think Texas asked for or wanted to be in. But I think, from where I sit, they're pretty confident in what they're doing. We have one in the bag so all they have to do is get it right once.
No reason to panic. I would be more worried if they ignored the signs. Maybe Owens ends up in the class when its all said and done. Still very early.
