IT mentioned today that Texas still  probably wouldn't trade their positioning in this recruitment with any other school.

Some familiar with the family said the addition of Ewers is a positive because he's the type of player that can get others to Texas and turn over the roster faster.

Manning is like any other blue-chipper who wants to play with other elite players.

They took notice of the OL haul too.

-Owens has had a relationship with Coach Choice since he was in middle school.

-he was excited about the addition of QB Quinn Ewers.

-he should be returning to Austin in late January, so file that away as a potential Junior Day event.

IT confirmed that Texas did get a '23 commitment on the last visit weekend.

They don't expect any public announcement for a few weeks since the staff wants to wait, and hopefully create some momentum with that class at the beginning of the year.

Possibly once February signing day is over.

He caught the eye of Coach Flood when his team was playing Austin Westlake at DKR in the playoffs.

IT saying Coach Choice will go see RB Cedric Baxter, Jr. of Orlando, FL quickly when he hits the road to start recruiting in mid-January. 

He has been in touch with Baxter since taking the job at Texas, and the staff offered Baxter back in June.

lol, you just don't see many prospects come out of there.

I mentioned him earlier as a guy I'd like to see Texas offer if they ever felt like they were going to lose out on QB Arch Manning, but IT wrote recently that QB Jackson Arnold of Denton Guyer wouldn't consider the Longhorns.

He's a Georgia native and has too many quality offers at this point.
