I thought that was the rule. I guess I'm not up to speed on this thing.  I thought they could transfer once with no penalty, but then would have to sit out a year if they transferred again (unless they were a grad transfer).

You are right. The new rule was that everyone has a 1 time free transfer. 2nd transfers would have to sit out a year, unless of course they are a grad transfer and have immediate eligibility which has always been the case.

You know I think it’s been mentioned on here before but I wouldn’t mind seeing them change the rule to the player gets one transfer without having to sit out a year but after the first time the player has to sit out a year. I know I know they aren’t going to do it but it would keep players from hopping teams every year.
