IT followed up on a USC message board rumor that Alexander intends on transferring to Texas.

They haven't heard anything at this point that links Alexander to Texas, but a return to the state is preferred and maybe even to the Dallas area to be close to family.

They do believe, however, that Texas will be able to land a quality interior DL via the portal when it opens in the second half of April.

They haven't heard anything at this point that links Alexander to Texas, but a return to the state is preferred and maybe even to the Dallas area to be close to family.

Burton at OTF chimed in on DT Bear Alexander this morning.

If Alexander does follow through with his intention to enter the portal next week, he believes Texas is the immediate favorite to land him.

He says expect Texas to pursue Alexander, and another DT as well.

Vogel at OTF is expecting a minimum of seven Texas players to enter the portal, and up to 10.

He doesn't expect any difference-makers to transfer.

Unfortunately, the way things are now, there is incentive for stud players to put themselves back on the free market on a yearly basis. Even if you don't leave, you probably get more NIL money to stay.

I personally know this young man. He will be a difference maker wherever he goes.
He needs a strong father figure.
I am pulling for him, his future could go either way.
