Am I the only one excited about Mitchell and Bledsoe? I think a rotation of Collins, Broughton, Arizona DL, Bledsoe and Mitchell seems just fine to me.

We need to make sure the NT position is solidified. Sydir Mitchell has the size but is still young in his development and would need to make a big jump to be ready to handle 40+ snaps a game.

One of our backup DT’s in 2022 ended up winning the Outland trophy in 2023 and the other is projected to be a 1st round pick in this year draft.
I wouldn’t worry about the guys being ready to step up.

My buddy down there has told me that there are times when (in practices) Bledsoe is just unstoppable. With another year under his belt, he should be able to fill a void if he gets consistent.

I've heard Bledsoe is perhaps (pound for pound) the most impressive athlete on the team. Can dunk a basketball and do the splits - at his size. The problem is keeping body armor (aka weight) on him for the interior DL.

By the way, I'm not sure how important it is for an interior DL to be able to do the splits. But apparently he can do it. So there's that....

Any one know who is in line to succeed Ford? The Mike position is also a part of the run stuffing success. Gbenda? AntHill is wasted there IMO.

I think the transfer from BAMA who looks like the Hulk in a football uniform (Kendrick Blackshire) - will compete with Gbenda for this. Both are downhill type defenders who may leave a little bit to be desired in coverage.
