2023-24 Transfer Portal Thread (PORTAL CLOSED)

You guys know I am a big Sark fan. I was even when we were losing.
And I trust his judgement, but just to say Brooks is no good, doesn’t pass the smell test. There must have been factors that I don’t know about
I recall reading that he was overweight for spring practice which indicates a lack of discipline. No idea if that's true or not.

Bowens redshirted his freshman year. He would be no threat to Bledsoe or Bryant. The other 3 incoming from the portal will be gone after this season. Bowens would be to backfill the class with Sydir. Beefing up for the future
I think this is the year they need to go 6-7, maybe even 8, deep and rotate constantly. They could possibly play up to 16-17 games this year. Teams need deeper groups to stay fresh for a playoff run.

Agree. Tough to last an entire season in this day and age. I fully expect to see Manning at some point this season. I hate to think it for Ewers sake, but feel it's likely.

Sark definitely understands this and has spoken about it several times this offseason.

It will be very different from college football of the past, every game will not be must win and there will be games lost by teams that are giving extra rest or recovery time to certain players. More important to be in the top 12 and be healthy vs top 2 and have guys with nagging injuries.
