Meanwhile, Cristobal coaching like he has already closed the deal with Miami.Speaking of transfer... anyone else watching Rising kick ass for Utah tonight?
So what if he doesn't land Ewers but lands Manning?IMO, this is Sark's UT coaching career hanging in the balance with Ewers. He is a generational quarterback who can lead Texas back to prominence. If Sark can reel in Ewers, it could be the beginning of the climb back. If can't get Ewers in the portal, Sark's career here will be short. IMO that is how important this is.
They're both unproven at the college level. Good to have either one. Plus, one player doesn't make a championship team. We need more help than that.So what if he doesn't land Ewers but lands Manning?
Adding one of these guys is a great way of doing that based on how it'd positively affect recruiting. They're both unproven at the college level. Good to have either one. Plus, one player doesn't make a championship team. We need more help than that.
They added that the talk of Ewers "considering" A&M and Tech feels more like NIL leverage.IT saying Texas is not a lock for QB Quinn Ewers since there are a few things to navigate, but they'd say they're the favorite.
They've been subtly hinting at this scenario for months, and adding Ewers before the early signing period could be just the jolt the '22 class needs.
12 days and counting...
Depending on red shirt Ewers is a 2021 and Manning 2023. Ewers plays and goes NFL after Jr year. Manning is the back up year one takes over year two. Easy peasySo what if he doesn't land Ewers but lands Manning?
I am not sure whether I should cry or laugh the amount of money being thrown around for college freshmen. This should end well, no concerns at all. Carry on.So, if it takes a similar NIL to get him to Texas, the kid would earn approx. $6 million before ever taking a college snap? Seems right in today's crazy college football world.?![]()
By then he might make more money staying in college.Depending on red shirt Ewers is a 2021 and Manning 2023. Ewers plays and goes NFL after Jr year. Manning is the back up year one takes over year two. Easy peasy
12:55 left in the 4th quarter, 15/24, 170 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTS. I wouldn't quite call that kicking ass. He does probably have a better line though.Speaking of transfer... anyone else watching Rising kick ass for Utah tonight?

I think we are all feeling it.My Texas PTSD must be real. I should be excited about this, but I'm constantly finding a way on how this blows up on Texas. This needs to change.
QE needs an infusion of OL talent and at least one other threat at WR next year, preferably two more at Texas. If Sark can do that, next year will be very different with QE at the helm. lol His second start would be against Bama.I think we are all feeling it.
I hope the kid joins though. Should help recruiting and imagine X, Bijan, and Ewers combo.
