Honest question. Has Riley Dodge had more success putting qbs in the NFL of late than Sark? Just curious since I'd guess that is Ewers ultimate goal. If I'm him, that's the question I'd want to consider.

Then again, my addiction to orange Kool-aid is well documented.lol

My understanding of Ewers was about money.  He graduated early and flipped to OSU because of NIL money.  Apparently it is or was illegal in the state of Texas for high school players to receive NIL under 18?  So he graduated early so he could make the money.  I believe it was 1.4 million.  OSU was saying hes been home sick for a long time.  With CJ Stroud doing so well hes bolting back home, a millionaire.  This is just all crap I have read and I am sure most of you know more than me about this NIL

I cant see him going to Tech even if McGuire has great relationships with DFW.  The ags already have a 5* coming in.

The logical place is his original commitment to Texas.

Why would he leave SLC?
Don’t think he would, just stated what Ive heard from multiple coaches around Austin. Word is it’s between him and Tony Salazar(also have heard from someone close to him the same thing.)

Yea hes only making 40 million a year in the NFL but whos counting, right?  What QB have we sent to the NFL doing that kind of cash?
We shouldn’t consider anomalies.

Am I the only one that expected more Texas players to enter the portal following the individual meeting? Seems relatively quiet with the biggest names (DemO and DJ) announcing they are returning.

Maybe Sark had an epithany and realized it wasn't as much on the players as he thought it was.

And I may or may not be serious ?

OrangeBloods saying they're hearing A LOT of Tech buzz for Ewers this evening.
Been reading that.

There's even a poster that says his BIL is on staff at SLC and has told him it is definitely Tech. Another poster says his nephew plays for SLC and says it is Tech.

The poster with the BIL put $5k on it and doubled down later to $10K. Needless to say, it is a highly entertaining thread.

I understand the crap show of this year and Mahomes aside, but what could a future at Tech really offer over Texas or practically anywhere else? Just curious for those in the know.

It offers the opportunity to not say "Because we're Texas!" and be laughed at for his entire college career... a trend that seemingly has no end in sight for recruits/our football program.

but but its tech?

The one thing I have learned in the past 11 years is NEVER underestimate the depth of the well of disappointment that is Texas football

I will believe it when I see it.  Sometimes I feel like its agent games with recruits.
