No... the hope is that Sark is another Dabo (or any other coach in the history of the football that eventually figured how to be successful). The actual list of coaches who struggled early in their HC career to find later success is rather extensive.

The assumption is that after a mediocre first stint as a head coach, he's learned from the feet of the master Saban in how to run and build a successful program.

It's not about optimists or pessimists. The realists know that rebuilding a program normally takes a while, and bellyaching over early struggles is nothing but sound and fury signifying nothing.
DKR was hired by Texas after three years as a head coach. His first two years were 6-4 at Miss St.  He then went to Washington where he coached the Huskies to a 5-5 record. Texas hired him and he promptly went 6-4-1. Half the people on this board wouldn’t have hired him. The other half would have fired him after year 1 at Texas. I fall into the wouldn’t have hired him camp. But once you hire him you have to give him a chance.

Comparing the situation with DKR back in the Jurassic period to today is not apples to apples; the game has changed. DKR was writing up plays in the dirt with a stick

Soooo. Another no commit day, while the gags are trending?
From what I've heard, it's an OL. If I connect the dots correctly, he just had his edit done. I expect to see an announcement any time now.

Also hearing we'll probably get a flip from the LB who has to now been committed to OU, if his visit goes well this weekend.

Thank you.

Don't fret, only 13 more days until Texas starts the momentum train....wait, will that be enough time to turn heads?

There is debate, that either he or Banks are about to verbal to Texas. I just haven't been able to figure out which one.
Banks is also considering flipping to aggy.

Kam is aggy IMO

Aggy has a real shot at the number one class in the country.... Kinda feels like the Mack Brown era but in reverse...

I think Perkins ends up at LSU

With Hookfin hurt there is more need for OL.

6 OL min. 5 DBS not many spaces left out of 13 1 WR and who ever ls  needed Soon we will know.
