247 was also told that OL Kam Dewberry of Humble Atascocita will be in attendance at the recruiting event.

I honestly thought Kam would've committed to tOSU by now. Are the chances growing for Texas the longer he is removed from the Columbus visit?  Or is it really too mich to overcome?  I know tOSU was hiS dream school, but how many kids over years have said Texas was their dream school only to commit somewhere else?

IT had Dewberry as a longshot in their most recent breakdown of targets.

Its either:

A. It would look bad not to invite him. This party was prolly thrown out in a conversation back when UT still had a shot.

B. Staff thinks there's still a shot with the guy.

C. Hail Mary!

Nebraska built an O Line factory in the 80’s by recruiting 220-250 lb athletes and adding 30-40 lbs of muscle to them over two years.

Yeah, but steroids became illegal and NCAA started demanding testing. And that was the end of that.

Meanwhile, partial qualifiers were no longer welcome at Nebraska, thanks in large part to Texas.

Then they tried to blame Texas' entry into the Big 12 as their big problem and reason for exiting to the Big 10.
