The recruitment of WR Kevin Coleman from St. Louis, MO may be headed in a different direction.

Alabama's Rivals site saying he has decided against working out for Saban, and that was something he needed to do before committing to them.

Imagine being so good at recruiting that you tell 5* receivers that if you want to play here you can't just visit, but you actually have to camp to prove you are good enough because we have so many other top guys also wanting to come and we aren't sure about you.

IT believes RB Jamarion Miller of Tyler Legacy could be a heavy Texas lean after this weekend if the visit goes well.

Apparently things went a little sideways with Texas due to a negative UT influence outside of the family, who Miller is close with.

A&M and Florida are thought to be the main competition right now, with Bama focusing more on other RBs in the Southeast.

Hey what are friends for? lol

IT reiterated today that DT Jaray Bledsoe is expected to stay at Marlin for his senior year, and he's currently taking summer school classes at that campus.

This weekend will be his first college visit ever, so Texas has a great shot to make a lasting impression.

Former Texas RB Ramonce Taylor is currently on the coaching staff at Marlin.

Does this one bear watching? Wasn't he on decommit watch a while back?
247 wrote that last weekend's trip to Austin with the other big names solidified things for him, but he still wants to "enjoy the process."

I'm definitely in the group that believes no visit is a completely innocent thing as a committed prospect, but nothing seems imminent with Winfield.
