2022 Recruiting Board/Thread

FWIW I spoke to someone yesterday and they said this is a two QB class. Texas is still recruiting Klubnik

So, the UT QB room could be this in 2022 (classifications frozen for last year, keeping Thompson as So and Card as a true Fr.  Can he still redshirt then?):

Rs Jr. - Casey Thompson (unless he goes Joe Burrow next year. Either way, I only see him staying 2 years max starting this year)

Rs Fr or So (if he wins the job) - Hudson Card

Rs Fr - Charles Wright

Rs Fr (PWO) - Cole Lourd (sp)

Fr - Maalik Murphy

Fr - Cade Klubnik

That is a lot for one room.  Granted, only 5 true scholarship QB's.

I hope this stops the silly talk that Ewers is going to switch back to UT.

When Lone Star State native Quinn Ewers decommitted from his home-state Texas Longhorns back on Oct. 28, there was still a small chance that he would eventually re-pledge.

Ewers then committed to Ohio State on Nov. 19, and since then has been nothing but Buckeye, shutting down any talk of him eventually re-pledging back into the Longhorns’ 2022 class. Despite the hire of Steve Sarkisian coming with much pomp and circumstance, it appeared that Ewers had moved on entirely and is focusing his energy on building Ohio State's 2022 class, and this seems to be more true today with Texas accepting the commitment of California five-star Maalik Murphy.
