OrangeBloods reporting Venables and OU went in-home with LB Kobie McKinzie this evening, and his recruitment is back to being a toss-up.

The family is stepping away from the media, but we'll know his final decision soon since he's an early enrollee who will be signing next week.

Per OrangeBloods, OL Kelvin Banks said tonight he doesn't plan on making any visits this weekend despite other recruits trying to convince him to.

LB Harold Perkins will be at A&M, but said he could possibly end up in Austin and isn't sure when he'll sign.

Aggy is out recruiting Saban and Smart after going 8-4...... These NIL deals for Texas will not be enough to stop them. Unless Texas starts dropping bags they will never compete again.

There is a fine line there (I guess) between what is legal and what is not legal.  I don’t know the rules on this NIL.
Two things here: 

1.  Aggies are always going to cheat.  They’ve been caught numerous times over the years.  There were a million more times that they didn’t get caught.  My FIL is a 1956 Aggie.  I told him when they got Fischer that he would have them on probation within a few years.  Jimbo was crooked at FSU, so now he comes to a place that has alot more money available than FSU…….it’s like a kid in a candy store for him.  Aggies want so bad to be better than Texas (we’re their fight song ?) that they will do anything.  
 

2.  The NCAA is been a joke for a long time.  They’re not going to do one thing about the above article.  So as @MBHORNSFAN said above…….if you want to keep up Texas better figure this pay (bags) thing out and soon.

Everyone has been gripping about Texas is getting left behind on the NIL,  but I would imagine that CDC has a team research this from every angle.  I don’t picture him as a guy that is going to go off half cocked and just start throwing money around.  He’s also a guy that I see as someone who once he gets a handle on it, then moving forward he will be one of the top players on getting this done.  He’s not a guy that’s going to sit around and get smoked on this.  He’s getting some stuff going now and moving forward we’ll be on top of this.  I’m going to be interested to see how this class finishes out and what Sark does in the portal.  We’re all in agreement that we need to see improvement starting next year.
