This, from Darius Terrell: "Winfield’s replacement was at the game today."
Maybe he just isn't SEC good.
Someone at TFB said his name too. DT said it was another WR who was there.I saw on Twitter golden was there

I didnt lose any sleep over it. We already have the best WR in the Big 12 and probably top 5 in the nation in Worthy. I would rather focus OLBye. With a nickname of "bad guy", you need to go elsewhere.
Texas will be a top destination for WR's in the portal too.I didnt lose any sleep over it. We already have the best WR in the Big 12 and probably top 5 in the nation in Worthy. I would rather focus OL
Still need one more playmaker on the outside. Not saying Winfield was it, but I think B. Thompson is a year away. I'm not counting on Troy Omiere until he actually plays a game. I'm still holding out hope for Stewart, but it's slowly fading away. There is one name I've been hearing whispers about and that is Shazz Preston. Who knows.I didnt lose any sleep over it. We already have the best WR in the Big 12 and probably top 5 in the nation in Worthy. I would rather focus OL

I would suspect the LS will be a PWO, and they’re opening up more spots for transfers247 saying this was a mutual parting of ways.
We have the speed, we lack the technique, discipline, and scheme on Defense; the deadly 3Watching the iron bowl and it’s clear that we don’t have near the speed on defense of upper level SEC teams. Watching some of their DBs play man defense is a beautiful thing.
