Perused the On3 top 300 players for 2022 thier ranks are way different. Seem to favor northern players and not so much players going to Texas.

Might just be me. However thier top QB is B.Allar from  Medina Ohio and Murphey  is not in the top 300. Top rated Texas recruit is Ross #55. Miller and Allen are in top 100.

Not a good way to kick off your new product (On3)

That sucks, but just go all out for Stewart and B. Thompson and the WR is set.  Sark likes a WR room of about 10 total WRs.  Not being a sour puss, just want those 2 with Winfield.  Good luck to Mr. CJ, hope he has a good college career at ND.  Good kid.

And the number one ranked class per 247 has ten 3 star recruits,

I'll bet you right now whatever you want that Penn State won't end up with the #1 class.... They have it now strictly based on the number of commits they have.

I am amazed that in 2021 we're still debating that stars matter...... The data is soooooooooooooooooooooo clear.

Nobody in their right mind would choose to have a roster of mostly 3-stars. Nobody has attempted to make that case. You defeated a point nobody made. lol

Funny how every school you named have three-star players in their classes right now.

But if you're attempting to tell us that you have better evaluations on players than say Sark or Pete Kwiatkowski or Terry Joseph – that's gonna be a tough sell.

NFL 2021 draft by recruit ranks

5 star 8

4 star 10

3 star 9

2 star 4

Ronald Lewis is a three-star 6'1, 175lb corner with freakish ability to turn his hips and had eight interceptions last season and has the versatility to play safety down the line.

This has nothing to do with their evals. The elites are telling them no and they are moving down thier boards. We have several commits who would not be here if the recruit they wanted would not have no.. Which was a 4 or 5 star player...Keep spinning this all you want....The staff is getting worked right now. Hopefully winning some games changes it.

I think you're the one spinning it here. Your disdain is obvious and rather tired. You think we suck. I get it. Thats fine. Just don't expect me to agree with you.

But yeah, it has everything to do with their evals. Otherwise you're trying to suggest a coaching staff sits around reads IT all day instead. Thats comical.

I'll take that bet right now, as you wrote it. I want to put $1K on it.

Penn State won't end up with the top class. And as you said, you think they will.

Everybody seeing this bet?

You can continue to be amazed. Nobody will know why.

See my post on the NFL draft stats on 5-stars, 4-stars and 3-stars.

Its pretty even. If it mattered that much, they'd never be even. We'd have a 1st round with nothing but 5-stars. But thats not the reality.

I heard this on a podcast and assume it’s true??  “Vince Young is the last Longhorn player to go in the first round on the offensive side of the ball.”  OU has what.... two QBs and how many OL, RB, WRs in the past 3-5 years???

Keep in mind..... Texas has consistently out recruited OU on paper.  Never during that time span has OU dominated Texas by beating us out for players both schools wanted out of high school.  The problem at Texas since the mid-80s had been player development.

You can theorize as to why.... the most obvious place to start is coaching but it may run deeper.

That's why I don't freak out at Sark being owned by Jumbo and Riley so far in recruiting.  The players are currently at Texas that both Aggie and OU wanted.

Not taking a side in a fight.... just observations.

Let me in on this too.  I’m going to check and see what my Iowa Bowhunt will cost next year though.  This bet is guaranteed to cover it.

I can remember when Texas recruits would rise in standings after commiting. Now they seem to fall in rankings after commiting.
