Well, despite his current 247 recruiting ranking, the UT staff obviously sees something in him to rank him higher than Ezra.  I know it's been reported that Hand is a friend of the Myslinski family, but there has to be more than that.  I seriously doubt Herman would allow nepotism over taking the best available player.  I could be wrong, but there is too much at stake for him.  Myslinski does have a solid background with his father being an NFL player for years so you know his technique is solid.  His film looks really solid and he seems nasty and blocks to the whistle.  Saying all that, i'll be excited if he picks UT.  Wasn't Shack a mid-star C coming out of Belton (maybe he was a high 3*)?  I remember coach Snyder really liked him and he made a last second switch to UT and that worked out well.  You almost get the feeling the staff liked Myslinski over James B. considering the reports of them being in disagreement with daddy Brock over James's skill.

Shack was committed to K State when we flipped him. Given KSU's track record with OL, it was a good recruitment for us.

Myslinski is very different. We're going across the nation to find a kid that seemingly is the same size as the average Class 6A lineman. His competition level is questionable so while he looks good on film, he should look good on film.

I think staff probably had Myslinski ranked about the same as the smaller Brock. But either one of those gives me the Jason Glynn jitters.

I love Ezra's film. But again, there has GOT to be a reason he's not been offered. Could be something on his side. Or could be high confidence in Myslinski. Ezra could slide to guard so IMO he's still a take. Play him at guard and use him as Center depth. No?

 
Maybe the coaches are happy with what they got. Tom was quoted as saying  7 or 8 OL that can play was ok with him.

I would take both and a couple more if possible.

 
According to SuperK over at Brainiacs, we will welcome a new Horn tomorrow.

We have three real candidates at the moment:

1. Myslinski

2. Jaden Alexis (CBs came in for him today to UT)

3. Tony Fields, the transfer candidate from Zona.

 
Would be a nice birthday present if Alexis, K. Jackson, Fields and Myslinski all commit tomorrow (or even just 2 of them)  I'll be playing the Arnold Palmer course at turtle bay, Hawaii for my birthday so im excited about that, but i wouldn't mind the others to happen as well.

Surprised how low he is ranked based off his film and his father's pedigree. Not a flashy take but I could see him developing into a starter for us! Welcome and Hook Em!

SHA, was Myslinski the 4 star you were referencing?  I'm guessing not since he seems to be a composite 3 star, but correct me if that is wrong info.
