QB Sawyer Robertson (Lubbock Coronado)

Are we really trying to take 2 QB’s in back-to-back classes?? This is an odd offer with Milroe already committed and recruiting for us. Idk how you sell 4 QB’s in two cycles on all of them having a shot. Sure once Sam leaves it’s open. But if Roschon is moving back there, you would think they would like him or Casey starting. That gives Card/Jackson two years. Then you expect one of them to start after that. Gotta hope this staff knows what they are doing. Though often they show they don’t.

Roschon isn't moving back to qb.  His future and earning power is at RB.  Casey may be gone after this spring or after the season, even with Sam graduating.  Taking 2 QBs in 2021 makes sense and according to IT, Milroe and family are cool with this as well.

Umm how do you know Roschon isn’t moving back to QB? He’s stated he wants to. He’s apparently been working on moving back there. And Tom Herman would look like an even bigger tool if he didn’t go him a chance to considering what he did for the team. So why speak as if you know that for a fact? Taking 2 QB’s make sense in 21 if we didn’t just take 2 in 20. You would all but guarantee you lose 1 with 2 being a high possibility as well. We just saw this happen and it’s the 18 QBs. We see it happening all over the country. And the portal only ensures it’s likely to happen. And sure his family could be cool with it right now,  but it’s a whole year until he signs. A second QB just gives other teams a negative recruiting tool. And could lead to him opening up his recruitment. It’s a risky move when you already have a good QB who has all the intangibles you want and he’s recruiting hard and well for you.

What would you like to wager?

1 million dollars.
Perfect.  I’ll provide a drop off location and prefer payment in small bills;)

I’d also add that having RJ as a wildcat qb for short yardage is absolutely in play and could include an occasional Tebow like jump pass, but RJ will be a key member of the RB stable going fwd.
