If Mehringer would have been retained then Smith would definitely have left (possibly several receivers from what I’ve heard). I believe with the season over the staff will make a conscious effort to repair some of the damage Mehringer caused and Jake will be a priority

99% of everybody will tell you no.  I'm inclined to believe them, but there is a part of me saying there is a chance.  I'm watching the game to see Bijan and Collins, but I'm keeping an open mind for another desert rose.
