Relax, everyone. This is the traditional offseason. Herman is getting in on kids early, letting them look around, and when they are ready, they commit. 

Our commitments usually stick because the coaches want them to be sure, but getting on them early is key. 

We will be fine. Has Herman let you down, yet?

I love Ellinger’s, “We’re baaack.”  I think he will back it up.  Think JB and Vince.  Love it!

I appreciate your positive thinking, however this has not been a traditional offseason. The Bru McCoy saga, the Derrian Brown and De'Gabriel Floyd injuries, and the top recruit in the country bad mouthing the team has made this non traditional offseason at least for me.

I wouldn't get too worked up about that stuff. Brown will be back and it will be a pleasure to watch. Floyd is a little up in the air and I wish him luck in coming back. Those things are out of our control.

Evans' badmouthing is fine because of the why – as in we don't play the game he wants us to play – and views it as a slight towards him. Bama, likewise, has had their moment with him which culminated in a "F them" from him during a recent live chat. So we're not the only team he's badmouthing right now.

Notice how the teams on his first list are now really no longer on his list? And the two that were left off suddenly are on that list? (UT, aggy)

Just a frame of reference, the sky is NOT falling. At this point last year, we had 12 commits. If we get one more tomorrow as we expect (or hope), then we're at 8.
