My guess is Bradford or Burns.

Just got my copy of DCTF Rising Recruit guide. The subscription that gets you the High school Bible, The recruit guide and insider on the website is worth every penny.

I just got mine as well. I went through it in about two hours. I have to say, nothing there that we didn't read here, really.

What percentage do you put Texas at on landing the remaining targets?

Gorman-Welch, Dixon, Burns, Bradford, Collins, any others.
Gorman-Welch – done deal.

Dixon – ours after we make hires.

Burns – ???

Bradford – Will know more after an OV

Collins – OU leads, but not by much. We have time to make up ground, especially with good hire at DC.

It will be a tale of two recruiting seasons. The early signing period will be for the kids that want to be Longhorns. The second part of recruiting season will depend on the new coaches.

Previous copy of rising had several players ranked high before Texas became intrested in them. At least before offers went out. For Texas H S players DC does best job IMO and has for years One day i will let my collection of DC mags. go but will be hard to do.

Texas QB commit JaQuinden Jackson took a big hit and was injured in Duncanvillle vs. Rockwall game.  Doesn't look good.

You hate to see something like this. Tackling is not being taught like it used to be.

Please let this mean that Ransom will switch to UT.

Despite having never been a coordinator before and spending the past seven years in the NFL, he also aced the recruiting trail. Hafley played a large role in landing four-star prospects Clark PhillipsLathan RansomKourt WilliamsRyan WattsLejond Cavazos and Cameron Martinez.

The fear of the targeting or unnecessary roughness call on any hit above the waist has driven coaches to teach tackling low which unfortunately has led to tacklers going for the knees. I have had this discussion for several years with friends that the rule changes will lead to an increase in major knee injuries. While I haven't done the actual research to know if my hypothesis is true, it sure seems like to be the case.

LB Ja'Qwondis Burns of IMG Academy is headed to Minnesota.

Admittedly, I dont know much about this kid, but I know UT needs Lbs.  Dont know if he wouldve contributed this year, so hopefully there are others out in the transfer market. Horns need players at that position.  I still think Overshown should be moved to OLB.  Has the size, speed and hunger to play there.

Damn. Max Cummings has to medically retire from football. Wish him the best but that is even less depth on the D Line.

Hadn’t he been moved to TE... or am I thinking of someone else?
