At this point, I'm done speculating until Hookfin signs on the dotted line one way or another. This recruitment has turned really weird really quickly.

 Way to get it done! Hooked Hookfin. This helps in a big way, especially with Shepherd. displaying so much immaturity in his recruiting process. He may very well be an Aggie and our coaches may be very well fine with it.  Hookfin seems to have huge upside and will fit in great in Austin given that he’s apparently “a little weird”. At least he’s smart enough to gravitate to Austin’s weird and not Baylor’s... Hook ‘em!! Welcome. Our online woes are lessening. This will be the d line of last year’s cycle especially if we hold on to Shep.

Absolutely loved his film first time I watched it. He can move, especially with our scheme and pulling of our lineman, he fits in great. Good kickback at OT and fairly strong base. Hands are quick but not strong yet, they get pushed away at times. 100% needs to redshirt and I hope he is on board with that. reports of him wanting to play early , give me pause Bc he might get frustrated sitting 1-2 years. He needs 30+LBs of muscle, half in lower body half in upper. He does play though the whistle in run plays which is great and shows he can play mean. Just hope he understands patience and 2021 will be his time to shine.

Good get for Texas, but I now hope the kid fully buys in to the process given that he will need some time to marinate before he pushes for PT. Lots of upside and very athletic.

I agree 24/7 is the best. Rivals is horrible.  I also like the ESPN 300. Right now UT has 11 players on it.

Yeah Rivals is the worst of the 3 IMO.  They don't even have Sweat in the top 100 in Texas.
