He’d be an interesting take for them this right now. But what makes it interesting is that the Texas chatter will him has been quiet since his OV. 

Tongue seems like the backup plan for Bru McCoy.  Gotta get at least one WR/LB.

No, I know first hand he will not b a longhorn. I also don’t think he is even a take for them. His film is intriguing but the talent pool he plays in is truly lacking. My .02 cents

Haven’t heard much on him since he visited earlier in the spring. Doubtful anything happens there.

Shit, I was telling folks on another site, Darwin Barlow is a legend out in lil ol Newton. I def think we are making a mistake in not trying as hard with him. I know some other guys are ranked higher but Barlow is the truth.  He is bigger than he is listed on any site. Very productive. Will finish with very similar numbers to Ingram

As he should be (a legend in Newton). Complete respect for Newton (I'm from Daingerfield) and what they've been able to do over the years.

Texas invited Barlow in back in early spring and from the sound of it, everything went well. But nothing in the rumor mill since then.

i like the kid too. Small town kids carry big chips on their shoulder because they know and feel that they have to work that much harder to get noticed. Its good to have guys who know how good they are and are motivated to constantly improve.

Especially with all the uncertainty with the top rb prospects that we are looking at. If we missed on the big rb guys like Cain, I wouldn't be upset landing Barlow and another comparable player to make it a 2 rb class

I am very new to staying up with Texas and college ball. Ive always followed the nfl much more closely. What is the deal with the Katy rbs i always hear? From what people say, it sounds like they dont pan out or live up to expectation. I like Glass though. Solid, versatile, ball player.

Kind of liking where things are trending with Trey Sanders.  This is him at the 5 star challenge in Atlanta.  Again, probably means nothing, but I like it.

Maybe Cain told Trey that he’s not coming to Texas so Trey’s interest in us has gone way up. Would be fantastic if we could sign him.
