So Marcel Brooks is coming to Jr. Day.  This is one strange recruitment.

Marcus Stripling coming as well.

I would like to hear @CoachEmUp64 's thoughts on this. I've heard there are some issues with this one. I don't know if his light turned on and he's turning things around on a personal level or if we're just riding this out to see how it ends up.

IMO, he's the best LB recruit in the state. Would be a great addition if he's not carrying a bunch of luggage with him.

Color me skeptical. Somehow, I just don't see bagging a 3-star this early. You normally slow play those a while. I could be wrong. My friend says I am.

I agree, Brooks is athletic enough to play Rover and would be a great get. Hopefully he has matured and turned things around.

Brooks would kill it in this defense.  Thing is, I'm not sure he even realizes it.

I absolutely love De'Gabriel Floyd's film.  He's the perfect LB for Orlando.  I never want to get hopes up to high with an OOS target, but him coming in the whole weekend is huge   Orlando has shown both cycles so far he can get us an OOS LB.

I don't care who we get on DL as long as DeMarvin Leal is one of them.  The kid visiting from Oklahoma has impressive tape.  Trace Ford is his name I believe.

Texas got on him early but so did A&M.

Coach speak. Not all kids who report an offer can commit to Texas whenever they want. 

But in this case Texas would take Sweat if he wanted in.

he really could come in and start in 2019 the why our roster is right now. the is a huge offer for us, unfortunately the comp will be intense, like a 5*. need to get him on campus and have GJ host him. GJ could play himself into a top 3 round LB.  this guy could play MLB or Rover, and unless we get Overshown to spin down, we have a huge hole at Rover. playing Lsu, Ou, Kst, etc we need a stud rover on the field.
