2019 Recruiting Board/Thread

From what I’m gathering things just  fell into place for A&M on this one. Keep recruiting the kid and continue to evaluate your options. No reason to panic. 

Doesn't really matter at this point.  Finish this class out strong, win next year and things will work out.

It not that they just got one guy, these guys all visited together this weekend and are pretty tight. Doesn't mean they will all go to same school but #1 S, one of the top CBs/Ath(Beason), and 2 5* WR(Wease & Henderson) and talented OL Green and Shephard. That package together, if it happens is concerning. We need to get on board with a few talented 2019 guys by end of Feb also, just to keep momentum. R Johnson is a stud, need to go get his OL for him.

Lots of time is right. This is a routine that gets recycled almost every year. Aggy puts together some guys, then it starts setting in what they've got ahead of them and suddenly they're looking around at options.

I, frankly, am glad our staff is not wasting time on 2019 right now. This is the 2018 home stretch. Herman is acting like it, too.

Yep and it's going to leave a huge hole on that roster, which already has major issues defensively, especially at DL and LB.  After Keke nobody at DT is impressive and he will be gone along with Mack after this upcoming season.  Then what?  An injury prone Justin Mabudukke??  They've done nothing in 2018 to address this need except sign a JUCO DT who I've read didn't even start.  Alaka will graduate and Dodson could declare and then all they'll have is Anthony Hines and a huge ?.

A couple of things.

1. These package groups hardly ever pan out if that's even the case.

2. After our db haul this year, we will miss on a couple of guys due to the depth chart.

3. Even if Williams sticks, we will still get more than our share of top recruits.

5. Win and recruiting will be just fine. Herman has had a plan since day 1 and continues to execute it consistently.
