Texas made the cut the last time he narrowed his list down, but to be honest he’s all over the map and it’s way too early to worry if he doesn’t pick Texas. His recruitment will be an adventure.

It’s early, but he likes Texas a lot and Stan Drayton is doing a great job recruiting him.

– Texas vs Oklahoma | Recruit Reaction: There were a lot of big names in the Dallas for Texas-OU on Saturday. While a lot of Texas fans were disappointed with the result, all of the recruits I talked to were impressed with the game overall.

’19 WR Marquez Beason: “It was amazing. The fans from both teams were die-hard and the atmosphere was amazing.”

’19 S Jalen Catalon: “The game was good. Loved the atmosphere and the competitiveness from both sides.”

’19 RB Noah Cain: “It was a great game and atmosphere. I met Byron Hobbs and his pops and they were real cool.”

’19 OL EJ Ndoma-Ogar: “It was a great game, instant classic. Was amazing to see both teams step up for the rivalry.”

If we have the season i expect in 2018-2019, I think this recruiting class trumps 2018.

Going to be a busy weekend in Austin.  Jordan Whittington added his name to the visitors list.

– Jordan Whittington: Another elite recruit will be in Austin this weekend and that is Cuero (TX) ’19 ATH Jordan Whittington. He’s been to Texas multiple times and and this will be his second visit of the season to Austin. He has also visited Texas A&M twice this season and has been to Florida as well. UCLA is the other school in his Top 4. He told me recently that he doesn’t have a leader but told me that Texas and Florida are the two schools standing out right now.

He told me he’d like to make a commitment sometime in December. While it wouldn’t surprise me if he did that, he’s pushed his commitment date back multiple times already. So I wouldn’t necessarily expect a decision to come in a month or so. Texas sits in a really nice spot with Whittington right now and have a chance to help themselves this weekend. – (Andrew)

With the 2019 LB class in Texas being weak, he could get a look.
