It's funny to see everyone freak out about our class, this was a solid recruiting year, if the coaching staff continues to build this team up and the results come, Texas will be fine. Do Not Panic....

Lol True but I wouldn't consider that a change of heart within a minute . I think that long process went on til the last minute of NSD if I recall. Then again I don't know if Hoofkin had officially made a commitment just yet. But the Newsome announcement I tell ya that was painful to watch

Actually he was 100% Penn State at the time. We made it 50--50 in the last few weeks. We were not even it in it until after the Big 12 game....

just saw he has offers from bama, Ohio st, Georgia....hope we didn’t miss the boat on this RB if he is one of our last options.  EJ has him pegged to ok st.

That wasn’t the decision maker from what I understand. I’m still trying to get clarity, but as Joe Hamilton reported, Texas had a shot as recently as this morning.
