Maybe not, but I thought he was a pretty good player personally. Maybe being a C/G guy hurts his value a bit on their board, but I thought he was going to be a prioritized guy early on.

you are right, i thought they would prioritize 1 OG in 2019. Huge need at C and OTs, almost all we signed in 2018 are OGs. Jones is only one who, in 3 years, could play OT from 2018 class.

Reese Moore is a Tackle all the way.  I think Jones is either a T/G.  Ghirmai and Angilau are Guards.

It seems we are trending well with Makiya Toungue out of Louisiana with some CB picks lately so I decided to check out his hudl.  Kid is a stud.  Plays real physical.  Would have liked to seen more defensive highlights, but he looks like he could play Safety, the Jason Hall roll, or even LB.  He's also pretty good at WR.  I can see why Herman has prioritized him.

Texas about as well as they can considering he’s a University Lab kid from Baton Rouge. Not sure how much of a priority is for LSU.

I don't think he has any allegiance to LSU or staying in Louisiana.  Dad was NFL Safety Reggie Toungue ( played at Oregon State ).  I don't even think LSU has offered.

Texas about as well as they can considering he’s a University Lab kid from Baton Rouge. Not sure how much of a priority is for LSU. 

He has no real connection to LSU, like most in-state kids there.

I like our chances.

Common thought is that Coach O will screw this season up and have some chaos within the ranks. Others, like UT and Bama, are circling like buzzards. lol

While we're in on some Louisiana kids, this is the only one I think right now that we're leading for.

I hope your right.  Yeah it sucks to lose Leal ( for now ) but Johnson, Bragg, and Shepherd are more important IMO.  We need the stud on OL.  We showed last year ( and will this year ) that this defense can dominate with 3* DL guys.  Not saying we don't need Leal, but the OL guys are a bigger need.  We got a talented DL haul last year and will this year as well.

That would be an interesting nit to pick. I can’t see that being a detrimental trait with EJNO. But each coach has their preferences.

If I were Demani, I would be royally pissed, if anyone did this to me. It feels like stalking, witness protection, or a lack of trust. Did the Ags do something during the whirlwind romance that wasn’t on the up and up?
