The Horns need to replenish the LB position with Bimage moving to the ground and departures of Johnson, Freeman and Wheeler.  I still think Overshown will spin down to the LB position.  Does anyone have an idea if they're looking to add 2, 3, or 4 this cycle?  I'm hoping for 4 with the 4 being Floyd, Gbenda, Lakia Henry, and maybe Brooks.  Would love to swap Brooks for the LB from Hawaii, but that's a pipedream.  Any thoughts about those 4 and the possibility of landing them?

Yes we do need LBs. I am hoping for 4, minimum 3. Brooks will not be 1 of the LBs that signs with Texas. Floyd is in at Rover. Gbenda likes us and is a ILB for us(Rover initially but once he gets >225 he should move in MLB). Henry is a Juco and will be ready to step in in 2019 and play and I really hope we get him. We need a B-Backer as our 4th. LB from Hawaii is darn good, great range as a MLB, I'll take him anyway. Interested to see if there is any movement on Owen Poppe after his official. 

Overshown should add some lbs but I think at 6-4 220 he can play boundry safety well and at times come up and play LB, especially in the 6DB package but I don't think he will be a full time LB anytime soon.

Excellent point, he is you B-backer. Hope we can get him to Austin a couple of times this summer.

There should be no crystal ball picks on Higgins(Texas/Stanford), Wilson(Texas/OhioSt) and Bragg(Texas/Stanford/Etc) at this point. Those 3 need to get to campus and the OVs along with Whittington and Johnson to help recruit. Our Offense scores some points and moves the ball this year and they will all be in ATX come summer of 19. 

Tyler Johnson apparently had a great visit to Texas. No reports on J Sheppherd so maybe he didn't make it in. K Green had a very good visit to college station. We need to get Ejno and S Wilkins back on campus soon.

What do you think of Mowry as a player? His tape is pretty darn good imo. Hand in dirt WDE imo. 

Intriguing player for me. Long, athletic, with a nice motor. Looks like a 4-3 end type to me.

I think they will take 2-3 this cycle. The staff knows the pantry needs restocking. I think Gbenda is likely in this class along with Floyd and they will push hard for Henry since he would likely contend for a starting gig from day one. I don’t see Brooks in the picture as things sit right now.

Good kid and a good athlete.  Loves the aggy cult culture.  Even aggy will get a good one now and then.  It was a head to head against OU - Texas was never in it.

SHA, are you close to putting Shepherd in the calculator?  Seems like we are making a furious push on that one even though aggy thinks he's already in the bag for them.  Of course, we've seen this movie before with them on recruits.

Aggy recruiting coverage could possibly be the very worst in the country. Where else will you see a team highlight what ends up as a verbal commit to their rival school in a filmed documentary?

Its to the point where it really doesn't matter what they say.

My calculator is OL friendly and has been for a several weeks.
