Everything I'm seeing on the Texas side points to an exclamation point close for the horns. Im sure agsy will land someone, but look for Texas to finish strong.... Too much chatter with the Texas commits and BC for it not to be the case.

Something's gonna be interesting down the home stretch. 5 days to go and no doubt Herman and company will finish real well in this class

We overlapped with Texas opponents twice during my senior year at UAB (A&M and UCF). We got caught up watching Shipley carve up those defenses both times. He was so damn good and he was ALWAYS open. 

He was pretty damn good at kick returns too!!  The first thing that pops into my head when I hear his name is the return for a TD in the 2008 RRS (0:40 in the video).

I believe he commited to bama, but didn't sign.

Brown was committed to Aggy, decommitted and committed to Bama.  He is a grade risk and likely being pushed out as Saban does every year.

Carson recently signed to play at Coahoma Community College. I had forgot about Jones, looks like he is at Kilgore so still in Texas.

Committed to Alabama, but there has been talk of qualification issues. Also, I think he is very overrated.

Carson recently signed with a JUCO in Mississippi. Jones initially had done the same, but I have no idea where he is now. He put on a ton of weight and looked horrible. Made me really said looking at his pictures.

Committed to Alabama, but there has been talk of qualification issues. Also, I think he is very overrated. 

Yeah I'm glad he didn't have much interest in us and I'm not so sure the coaching staff had him as a priority either.  He's a guy Strong would have went all out for.  Give me Coburn and Ojomo everyday over Brown.
