heart is still broken bc of this, he was my fav LB. He is so perfect for us, and Ou but he comes in and plays here vs Maryland. Ou has more depth than we do and i though having Momma Hobbs in his year would do it. (he is apparently best friends with B Hobbs). He can cover RBs and is physical, perfect LB in our/most systems.
If Ou were to part ways with Stoops and the LB coach, then there's still a chance.

I think Sumlin could have a tough time prying him away from A&M unless he offers him the DC position (which wouldn’t be smart). Price is an A&M grad, so college station is home for him.
Agreed. And A&M retaining Price may not end up mattering in the end for Ossai, which would be a hell of s recruiting job by Texas if it happens.
Good to hear. I know you mentioned that you weren't ready to change your cb on Ossai. Thought if Price left that would do it for you, but doesn't Price have a good relationship with other dl targets like Ojomo? Thought his departure would open the door for multiple targets, but I agree that it would be a tough pull and read that sumlin was retraining the current Az DC.
If Price left it would be a slam dunk for me, but I don’t see Arizona trying to bring him on in a lateral move or him being receptive to that. Price is a good recruiter and is does have a good relationship with the DL targets on the board, so losing him would definitely sting in more than one way.
The buzz behind the scenes for Ossai is definitely positive for Texas, but I’m being very cautious with the optimism. If Texas pushes hard for Moore I think he ends up in Austin.,
